Holiday Mini Session
We recently took a family trip to Joshua Tree over Thanksgiving and actually stayed in an awesome vacation rental in Yucca Valley. The house is called Sunday at Aberdeen because it’s “sweet like a Sunday morning” and I can definitely agree! The house was filled with macrame, crystals and concrete flooring. The owners have done a good job creating a very peaceful atmosphere, if only the three kiddos with us could have understood that.
We decided to do a family photoshoot outside amid the many Joshua Trees and the Teddy-bear Cholla Cacti. My father-in-law even brought his stealth camera to strap to a pole outside and see if he could capture shots of wildlife. Every single night we caught a glimpse of Jackrabbits and lots and lots of coyotes. The kids were loving waking up in the morning to see what was caught on camera. It was ALMOST as good as the excitement to find our Elf on the Shelf (Mr. Snuggles) hiding throughout our house when the kids wake up.
